New Tampa is at the northeast corner of Hillsborough County, known for its sprawling newer homes, abundant lakes intermingled within the communities, and lots of conservation, parks and other green areas. Almost 25 acres are incorporated into the county, while much more have spurred growth into unincorporated Hillsborough County as well. Each year, residents gather for the Taste of New Tampa, an outdoor event that showcases New Tampa’s fine dining restaurants, where all Proceeds from the event, goes to local schools. The food festival combines with the Business & Health Expo because it draws people from all over Tampa Bay and this combination further educates everyone attending of New Tampa’s unique opportunities and facilities.
